Auditing and Assurance services

Audit and Assurance services

The main role of an audit is to verify the reliability of financial information by expressing independent opinion on them. In addition, auditors provide various other services related to their professional work.

PwC's Audit and Assurance services have been shaped by the needs of our clients and collaboration with PwC's international network.

The auditors' clients have increasingly come to expect that the knowledge we acquire of the company can be utilized in as many areas (of their operations) as possible. With this in mind, PwC has developed working methods that ensure the greatest added value for clients without jeopardizing the auditor's independence.

The Audit and Assurance services have been a fundamental aspect of the firm since it began operations in Iceland in 1924.
